Climbing the head of the hag [see navel carving] with Lotte in the summer 2004 we found a pool where the eye should be.  I collected some water and sealed it in a glass phial. This became the 'eye' in an alabaster carving. The work is based on the seer stone, which, when looked through,  gave visions of the future [eventually leading to the seers demise]. Christmas 2005 Lotte placed a ceramic 'pupil' in the pool.
